In this interview, Itzik Levy, CEO and Founder of vcita tells us more about their award-winning platform, what inspired them to bring the platform to market, problems they help small businesses overcome, and what they think makes their platform award winning.

Hi Itzik, congratulations on your SaaS Awards win! Please can you provide a brief introduction to vcita?

“vcita is a leading tech company dedicated to SMBs. With an all-in-one solution, we aim to help with their day-to-day operations. We help them with scheduling and payments, provide a client management module, and a marketing solution. We are thrilled to be acknowledged and win this award, which shows out dedication and long term investment in the SMB market.

“With our partner offering and our InTandem platform, we help companies that serve SMBs to build on top of our own technology, and take a solution to market. By doing so, they can extend their offerings for SMBs, and adding a business management solution to the portfolio of solutions.”

What inspired the development of vcita?

“When starting vcita, we saw a very urgent need for simplification with small businesses. They were struggling with complicated, decentralized systems, and by building one solution that brings everything together we felt we can really make things easier for them to run their day-to-day, and grow their business.”

What industry challenges or problems does vcita solve?

“vcita addresses many of the day-to-day challenges SMBs face, starting with managing their time, billing, managing their marketing operations, and effectively communicating with customers. We bring everything together, and in doing so we help them avoid the need to integrate multiple services, reduce the chance of errors, and save a ton of time.

“As for our partners, our InTandem platform helps them address the challenges of low margin, high churn, and low perceived value. With our platform, they can release new value to market that increases recurring revenue, and create stickiness with their SMB customers.”

Can you share any examples of customer success?

“We have more than 100,000 SMBs worldwide trusting us to help make it easier to run their business. They can be more effective, and look better in front of their own customers, which is extremely important for them!”

What were the biggest challenges you faced when developing and launching vcita? How were they overcome?

“One of the biggest challenges you always have with SMB software is you need to combine, and bridge the gap, of the huge amount and variety of SMB functions with the need for simplicity. To solve this we had to build with very quick development iterations. We get feedback from SMBs on a daily basis and incorporate it into our development process to make the system more intuitive, and answer the exact needs, exact scenarios, and business flows, that they need.”

What do you think makes vcita award-winning?

“vcita stands out because we listen to SMBs all of the time. We take their needs, and combine with our advanced technology to make what they need, happen. Recently we have added AI to the solution. Putting that together with a user-centric design, and a real focus on SMBs, is what makes us stand out.”

How will vcita build on its awards success? What’s next?

“Winning the award definitely reinforces our commitment to SMB-focused innovation. Recently we introduced BI – our solution based on AI technology that helps SMBs run their business by providing them with the insights, advice, and automation that they so desperately need.

“With our platform solution for partners, we are committed to continuing to enhance the solution, providing more technology and better tools for them to take to market quicker. We recently introduced InTandem Complete – a set of services that encapsulates our technology and reduces the risk to a minimum for partners to take it to market.”
