Enterprises are putting AI agents in front of customers faster than they are building the record underneath them. In an April 2026 survey, Grant Thornton asked nearly 1,000 senior business leaders in the US whether they could pass an independent AI governance audit inside 90 days. More than three-quarters, 78%, lack full confidence that they could.

Orvera AI was built to close that gap. It is an agentic AI platform for enterprise customer experience that Orvera builds, deploys and runs as a managed service, so the system that handles the conversation is the one that holds the record of it.

What Orvera AI is, and why it matters

Orvera AI resolves customer conversations across voice, chat and digital channels, inbound and outbound, in more than 80 languages. It is not an IVR, a chatbot or a deflection tool. Its purpose is genuine containment and resolution, which means conversations that are actually finished rather than diverted out of a queue.

Orvera AI is model-agnostic. It orchestrates best-in-class third-party models on the customer’s existing stack, and a governed orchestration layer sits above them, so an enterprise adopts a better model as models improve without re-engineering and without lock-in to any one provider.

That architecture is what makes the record possible. A system assembled from parts nobody owns cannot account for itself later. A governed layer can, because every interaction leaves a report log, a summary and a transcript.

What does Orvera AI do?

Orvera AI works across three areas: resolution, human support and the record.

First, resolution. Agentic AI agents hold conversations end to end and complete the work behind them inside the systems an enterprise already runs, across more than 500 integrations spanning CCaaS, CRM, helpdesk, healthcare, insurance, financial and travel platforms. The conversation and the transaction are the same event.

Second, human support. Where a person handles the conversation, Agent Assist delivers approved knowledge, next-best actions, escalation cues and automated summaries in real time. AI Auto QA audits 100% of conversations on every channel, human-handled and AI-handled, rather than the sample a manual quality program can reach. Voice of Customer mines every conversation for themes, drivers and sentiment.

Third, the record. Every interaction produces a report log, a conversation summary and a transcript. Orvera AI also custom-trains its own contextualization models on de-identified data, so the system understands the customer’s domain without the customer’s identifiers.

Together those three turn an AI deployment from something an enterprise has to defend into something it can show.

Customer support with AI translation

Who needs Orvera AI?

Orvera AI is built for enterprises running high-interaction-volume customer operations, particularly in regulated industries where somebody outside the company can ask what happened on one conversation on one named date.

That covers healthcare providers and payers, insurance, telecommunications, utilities, retail and eCommerce, travel and hospitality, automotive and education. In each of them the question that stalls an evaluation is rarely whether the agent understood the caller.

For BPOs and system integrators, the multi-tenant model matters. One platform serves multiple client organizations under one parent, which is the shape a service provider actually needs rather than a single-tenant deployment repeated.

When complexity becomes risk

Governance is not a reporting feature added after go-live. A record that was not captured on every interaction cannot be assembled from memory afterwards, and the interactions nobody kept are always the ones somebody asks about.

Orvera AI is SOC 2 Type II certified, HIPAA compliant and GDPR compliant, and it carries working knowledge of the US regimes that govern regulated customer conversations, including HIPAA, TCPA, CMS, FERPA and state Department of Insurance requirements.

Full enterprise deployment lands in three to six weeks. An organization that reaches production quickly still needs the record to have existed from the first conversation, not from the first audit.

Why running the operation makes the difference

Orvera comes out of more than 18 years of contact center operations and a BPO services background rather than a pure-software lineage. Orvera does the build, the deployment and the integration itself, and then runs the system it deployed.

That matters because producing a record on a named date is operational work, not a product feature. Answering for a live floor on somebody else’s schedule is what an operations background trains you to do.

Software handed over and left behind cannot answer for what it did on a Tuesday in March. The organization that built it, deployed it and runs it can.

As enterprises move agentic AI into regulated customer conversations, the deciding question stops being what the agent can do. It becomes what you can show it did. Orvera AI was built for that question.
